Original Art

Monday, July 30th, 2007

We’re happy to announce the start of original art accompanying some of our serial fiction. The first two pieces illustrate moments from chapter one of the Ahara Chronicles. The art is created exclusively for this site by artist and illustrator Nick Gagg. More pieces will follow over the course of the next few weeks.

About our Navigation

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

I thought I’d post a little something to let readers know that our homepage is still under construction. While it contains links to all our sections on the right hand-side (especially Articles, Fiction and General), they might be easy to miss.

We’re working on including links to related articles at the bottom of each one on the homepage, to streamline the reading. We wouldn’t want you to miss any of the interesting works posted here! If you’re coming back after a prolonged absence, just have a peek at the Latest Posts in the left hand side, which will always point you to the latest works posted, in chronological order.

Links

Monday, June 18th, 2007

As this is a relatively new site, we are always looking for relevant and good quality inbound links, so don’t hesitate to drop us a line if you have an interesting website. We are of course more than happy to reciprocate. Despite what many so-called search engine specialists say, relevant reciprocal links can boost your search engine rankings. Ranking algorithms change so frequently that very few people can say with any certainty what may or may not boost your position, but honest links from good sites always will.

We are also happy to arrange for banners in the left or right hand sidebar on our frontpage. Since the site is brandnew, rates for those are killer at the moment, and make no mistake, our traffic is growing rapidly!

About this Website

Monday, June 11th, 2007

John Willie, Irving Klaw, Eric Stanton, … names that conjure up a warm, fuzzy feeling of vintage erotica. These are some of the people who braved the mainstream media and sought to cater for the more distinguished erotic tastes.

Nowadays we are used to the idea of bondage magazines, even if we still see them only too rarely outside specialist agents, but back in the forties one man made his vision come true with the publication of ‘Bizarre’, a small format magazine dealing with bondage, fetish and out of the ordinary fashion.

Bizarre ran its course and had its highs and lows, and this author is very happy to have stumbled upon it in his youth, and changed his perception of what can and cannot be published.

It is to this end that this website has been created - to create a new space for fiction, articles, drawings and photos of distinguished tastes. We can never recreate the cult publication by John Willie, but we can continue its spirit in the digital world.
